[maelstrom trilogy] maelstrom trilogy
the maelstrom trilogy is a series of decrypted signals from xtasisxtasis (with some signals decrypted by other sources), related to the rebecca parks timeline of 1982-2003. this webpage shall be updated as more signals become decrypted in the future.

[previously decrypted signals]
there have been many attempts to decrypt signals from this timeline in the past by metainfMETA-INF and unsequnseq. most of them are related to digital cage, but some other corrupted signals have also gotten through.

the first signal was a very faint one, captured by unseq. it signalled that the maelstrom would arrive soon, though this release isn't specifically tied to the maelstrom.


soon after, unseq decrypted cage.control, which was tracked by multiple entities in the void. this signal contained many mathematical statements, as well as a hint of a darker, hidden digital disease, called Repercussive Dehumanisation Miscalculus. what this means is still debated. however, a tracklist is hinted at in the description of the R.D.M. tracks, as well as the mathematical statements.


over the coming few years, META-INF decrypted many signals relating to the maelstrom timeline. the first one was A8,[jFCAuq@:s-, a very corrupted signal with hints of digital cage, and a hidden message.


soon after, another signal was decrypted. this time it was more comprehensible, and stated that communications would start soon.


META-INF decrypted the end of three - strongly inferring that maelstrom is a trilogy of sorts.


the final of the META-INF decryptions came on the 24th of october, 2023. a heavily downtuned guitar plays throughout, as well as corrupted material in the background.

[digital.maelstrom]
digital.maelstrom is the first officially fully decrypted signal from xtasisxtasis. although there have been many more decrypted but corrupted signals from metainfMETA-INF and unsequnseq in the past, xtasis fully decrypted the start of the timeline (1982-1992), and realised that it is the one that must spread the message of this signal. the importance of this cannot be understated.

this signal infers that digital cage shall come soon - theorised to be in an ep format. the tracklist is also hinted at again in the description of this release.
